DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – FREE & EASY

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR FULL DAY ( B/ L)

 

Morning: Have breakfast at hotel & ready for the trip at the lobby.

Our guide will pick you up from 7:45 – 8:30, depending on where you stay.

08:30: Start the trip by visiting Tran Quoc Pagoda – was first built in Ha Noi in 6th century. You will see the oldest Bodhi Tree in Vietnam

09:00: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around Ho Chi Minh garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.

09:50: Visit One Pillar Pagoda where worshipping the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world

10:45: Visit one of these:

  • Option 1: Bat Trang ceramics & pottery village (On Mondays – Wednesdays  – Fridays )
  • Option 2: Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (On Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays & Sundays)

12:30: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

13:30 – 13:45: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam in the feudal system.

DAY 3: HANOI –NINH BINH - HOA LU - TAM COC - HANOI - GROUP TOUR

 

  • 07.15 – 07.45 Pick-up from your hotel or private address and departure to Ninh Binh.
  • 10.00 Visiting a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house architecture and their daily life and their handicraft job of making traditional embroidery.
  • 10:30 Leaving the family, you will take a bike and start riding to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with a unique route.
  • 12:00 Come back the local family, enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture.  After lunch, a break with a cup of tea will be served before you continue the journey of discovery Ninh Binh.
  • 13.30 Visit Tam Coc by a small boat rowed by a local for about 1.5 hours.  Known as “Halong Bay on land”, the boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, rice paddy if traveling during harvest season.
  • 15:30 Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temple of King Dinh. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnamese history.
  • 16.30 Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi.
  • 18:30 Arrive in Hanoi, drop you back to your hotel or private address in Hanoi. Trip ends

DAY 4: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

 

  • Breakfast at the hotel, check out
  • Pick up at 07:30 from your hotel to travel to Halong Bay (distance 160km, a stop for a break time on half way for a refreshment ).
  • You enjoy the drive and sightseeing the peaceful country side scenery during the bus trip ( 4 hours ), we arrive at the at Ha Long bay sea port at around noon time
  • At 12.00 noon, you aboard the cruise, check in & enjoy a welcome drink while your cabin will be asigned.
  • Check in your cabin and put your luggage in, relax and may do a short inspection tour by moving around the cruise to descover about the cruise’s architecture & design
  • Relax, sightseeing and taking photographs before lunch is served.
  • A sumptuous lunch with fresh seafood meal will be served while cruise slowly gliding out into the Halong bay.
  • It’s a wonderful opportunity to admire thousands of islands and islets with magnificent caves and grottoes at the inside the islands, admiring sparkling stalactites and stalagmites like germs and listening to the legends of the Dragons and the land and sea scape in the area,

  • Refresh your body & soul with a Tai-chi martial art lesson the sundeck.

  • You continue to enjoy the sightseeing tour on the cruise until noon time, sightseeing, taking photographs & relax on board
  • At about 09:30 – 10:00, pick-up your luggage and check out your cabin while cruising returning to the boat pier.

  • 11:30 am – Return to prier, and disembark the Cruise & say fare well to all crew member,

DAY 6: HO CHI MINH CITY & CU CHI TUNNELS (B,L)

 

PICKUP TIME FROM 08.00AM – 08.30AM, and start our tour with:

  • The Reunification Palace: Here on April 30th 1975 the ‘American War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
  • War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of war.
  • Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture.
  • Jade Emperor Pagoda: Built in 1909 in honor of the supreme Taoist god, this is one of the most spectacularly atmospheric temples in HCMC, stuffed with statues of phantasmal divinities and grotesque heroes. The pungent smoke of incense fills the air, obscuring the exquisite woodcarvings.
  • Lunch is served at local restaurant. After that, we will drive about 1,5hrs to Cu Chi tunnels. Upon arrival, we start with:
  • Watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
  • The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
  • From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
  • There is a gin range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi –automatic weapons for a fee (this fee is not included)
  • Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home. Drive back to Saigon.
  • End of tour, the car will transfer you back to your hotel about 06.00PM – 07.00PM.

DAY 7: Saigon– Mekong Delta Tour– MY THO – BEN TRE FULL DAY – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)

 

  • Breakfast at the hotel,
  • 08:00am: Pick up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, taking about more than 02 hours driving by car/ van/ bus from Ho Chi Minh city to My Tho city, enjoying sightseeing from car/ van/ bus with countryside scenery along the way to Mekong Delta (around 85km western of Saigon).
  • On arrival My Tho, we take a visit Vinh Trang pagoda, which is one of the best known beautiful pagoda in region and constructed with the harmonious blend of both Oriental and Western architectural styles
  • Proceed to My Tho Boat Pier, taking a private motor boat trip on the upper part of the Mekong River to leisurely moving along the Mekong River to Rach Xep Canal, along the way, you enjoy drinking some fresh sweet coconut juice with a chopped coconut while seeing the fish market and the floating fish farms, viewing over the Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Turtle islands, (some 30 minutes),
  • Arrival Rach Xep, a stopover to an island for a tasting of some honey tea and samples of fresh juicy tropical fruits while listening to the traditional classical music of the South.
  • Taking a short walking tour along the fruit gardens to the horse driven cart station, enjoy a horse driven cart tour for sightseeing while moving along the country road.
  • Take part in a hand rowing sampan tour which is slowly moving along the narrow canals under the cool shadow of thick green water coconut forests, the small sampan will drive us to the big motor boat awaiting.
  • Continue the cruising tour to visit Ben Tre, get off the cruise again for visiting a coconut candy workshops where you will have chances to see how the coconut candy being made by traditional methods, a taste of some samples of the hot candies will really a nice experience, this is also chance for you to buy for some good candy for friends for whoever love eating sweets.
  • Lunch will be served at restaurant in Ben Tre
  • After lunch, enjoy relaxing for a while and resume to the motor boat for cruising back to the main Boat pier, disembark the Cruise and farewell the boat driver
  • 14:30 Disembark, meet again the driver and resume the two hours drive to return Ho Chi Minh city
  • 17:00 Arrival at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, free & easy

Day 9: PHNOM PENH FULL DAY CITY TOUR Private tour

 

  • Breakfast at hotel. this morning we will visit explore the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum - both grim reminders of Cambodia's bloody past under Pol Pot. It is almost inconceivable to confront the nature of true evil here in this gentle land, but the Buddhist memorial at ChoeungEk, commemorates the 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. This excursion may prove distressing for some. It is, however, an important piece of this country's historical and cultural puzzle.
  • Lunch is served at a local restaurant, Bopha Phnom Penh (Food only, no drink)
  • This afternoon, we will continue visit Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. aThe treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. We will also visit Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh during sunset. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 10: Phnom Penh– Bus to Siem Reap – Private tour

  • A late lunch will be served at Asian Square (Food only, no drink).
  • Check-in at your hotel and relaxing for refreshment after a long transfer day.
  • At 16h30, we will arrive at the hotel and head toward the check-point office to get your Angkor ticket. Enjoy a beautiful sunset on the mountain-liked temple of Pre Rup.

Day 11: Angkor Tours: Visiting Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat – Private tour

 

  •  Beat the crowd early morning by 7am, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins.  The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.

  • Afternoon, explore the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. City & Bayon Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lepper King Terrace and Royal Place area.

Day 12: TONLE SAP LAKE HALF DAY TOUR - Siem Reap- Departure – Private tour

 

  • After breakfast, we will drive east of the city to explore a beautiful floating village of Kampong Phluk. Kampong Phluck is a permanent settlement on the Tonle Sap Lake with a small land based village attached to it. Its remarkable mangrove forest is unique in the Siem Reap area. You will board a local boat and cruise the waterways observing the authentic and diverse lifestyle of the local floating community. (Suggested visit period is between September and early February).
