According to the legend, the king was late to have a baby. In a dream, he saw a Buddha gave him a son who was lying on a lotus flower. Later when the prince was born, the King decided to build the pagoda with a lotus image to worship the Buddha. Initially, he directly to celebrate the ceremony in the pagoda where became a popular place to worship the Buddhists for everyone lately.
