Traveler’s comments of trekking route to Muong Hoa Valley
Sovannphalla, Phnom Penh, Cambodia said - the best experience ever at Muong Hoa valley – Sharing his comment about Muong Hoa Valley “I love Muong Hoa valley, it was stealing my heart to see the beautiful rice terrace, waterfall, green overall the village, people was so nice, friendly, smiling, cool weather if you go on November. With foggy were flying a cross your face,,i really peace to stand there dont want to leave anyway.
Kerry - We were lucky when we visited as the weather was perfect for walking and really this is the place for treking and walking and I can imagine if its wet or foggy wch it can be it wld be less enjoyable. Great to see minority groups this place is very busy and getting more tourist y. Beautiful views.
Marçal - If you want to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Sapa and the way people live in the mountains, skip Tavan and the stretch between Tavan and Lao Chai. It is full of shops and a lot of motorbikes going up and down. Instead, go to Cat-Cat and take the little road (not for cars but only for local motorbikers and trekkers) that goes down to Lao Chai (the opposite way is uphill). It is a wonderful walk through rice fields, forest, bamboo, etc. We have just done it in August 2015 and during our walk we only found another couple of tourists.
Asyikdeh- This place is super beautiful. Almost untouched by modern civilization apart from the dangling electricity lines and the mobile phones that the locals have. Apart from those, it is as though you have stepped into a beautiful oil painting of a peaceful, serene green fields with mountains backdrop. Pictures just don't do justice.
Dosksuck - Booked our great package deal via My Beautiful Sapa website for Sapa tour, Halong Bay Cruise and transfer. We visited Muong Hoa valley on a sunny day and it was beautiful. The company advised great things to do and the package included train tickets and all activities.
